Happy Halloween Double Layout

Oh my goodness! Leah Schaeffer here and I'm so excited to share this with you! I very rarely do double page spreads and so this was an extra treat. Then include the fact it's been awhile since I've done a scrapbook page and I'm a happy girl! Using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon die cuts are always the perfect starting point for any paper crafting project....adore these images!

I think I can say for sure that I have a bit of a style at this point when creating layouts and it's to use the die images big and bold on a page! I love how little else a project needs when you do this! There is a bit going on but I think the simple color palette kids this from getting overwhelming.

I added lots of shimmer and shine, from spraying the background to the glitter behind the lite-up jack o' lanterns, to the Wink of Stella added here and there. Oh, and lots and lots of Glossy Accents!

I hope that you enjoy this project today! It was a labor of love! Not to mention the fact that I got to scrap these precious photos from a couple years ago. My youngest 2 and my best friends youngest 2! Great memories...this is why we scrap!
Ok, ready for the list of sets I've used images for? I think I'm in need of a nap after setting up this list! LOL! Check it out...
Skeleton Couple
Little Witches
Potion Bottles
Haunted Scenery
Pumpkin Patch
Fall Leaves

Christmas Joy

Hi everyone..
It's NannĂ© here to share a layout I created using some the adorable Christmas cutting files..

I decided to create a big santa's bag of toys to hold one of my photos.. then added a cluster of fun Xmas goodies to the bottom of the layout along with a wish list :)

How about a few close ups and some details:
The word "Christmas" in the title is in the Christmas Cookie cutting file..
I then added one of the snowflakes (also in the Christmas Cookie cutting file) to replace the "O" in joy..

Here is my big santa sack :)  also added a stocking which is in the Christmas Stockings cutting file.

This cute little elf is in the Santa's Helpers cutting file..I just used the face and hands :)
The gift boxes are in the Jolly St. Nick cutting file.

My perfume bottle (potion bottles cutting file), cute little teddy bear (Santa's Helpers cutting file) and the big opened scroll (Hats off cutting file).. I printed the text "wish list!" onto the scroll with some fonts I have in my font stash :)

and a closer look at the bottom corner..I also added a few scrolls with ribbons as well, those are also in the Hat's off cutting file..

and their ya have my Xmas layout.. I can hardly wait till next week to get some fun photos of my kids to add to this layout :)
so, till next time..
Have a very Merry Christmas
Hugs

Grave Stone Card

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon
Hi all, Leah here with you today! Another Happy Monday is upon us! Did you celebrate this past weekend with any Halloween parties or school festivities? We did both and had so much fun! Mix that with a rainy day and some crafting and it was pretty much a perfect weekend!
Now today is my design team posting day for Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon so I've created something for the holiday for you today! I created a relatively simple shaped card but really…you cover the heck out of anything with glitter and it takes it to the next level, don't you think? LOL!

Lisa is pretty brilliant so I am sure she meant to do this…but I love how some of the graves in the cutting files have an opening in the top, like this one. Just calls for adding a detail there! I think adding a date in there would be cool too. Anyways, I added a small bat from the Potion Bottles Cutting File there and added a large black pearl.

You can also get a peak here at the pattern paper, I admit, I had to rub off a lot of the chunky glitter to get enough of my pattern to show through but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Here are the files I cut from today…

Well I hope that you guys liked this and I'm glad to get to share with you! Have a great week and make sure you have your costumes and candy ready for Friday night! BOO!

Having Brains Is Over Rated!

Hi all! Leah Schaeffer here today with another layout. Very different from my beachy page last time as we are headed into the Halloween season! So excited and very excited to share this page. Pretty sure my last couple layouts for PPPR have been some of my FAV ever pages!
I spoke on my last post day for PPPR about using really big elements on your scrapbook page and I think this certainly shows the impact that can have! The photo is a standard 4x6 so you know these zombie kids are cut really big! Did you notice…they look almost exactly like my kids? LOL!
I started with a subtle grey and white striped background and then inked the edges. What normally would look like a bad inking job has a smoky, foggy look that lends well to the eerie feeling I was going for. You'll see that better in some of the photos coming up.

I added my sentiment using free fonts downloaded from Dafont.com and added some Girls Paperie stickers affixed with my mini stapler. I'll also take this moment to tell you how hard it was to find scraps that I wanted for these darn outfits…I swear I never take that long to get dressed myself! Ha!

And these are the files I used, you can click on the title below the photos to go directly to the shop for each cutting file.
