Summer Float Shape Card

Hello PPPR Friends!

Are you enjoying your summer?  I hope you're keeping cool!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and I have this yummy shape card to share with you today!

Growing up, summers also meant having root beer floats!  I loved having them!  (even if I got a stomach ache from too much carbonation and sugar)

I cut an extra 'mug' piece and added it to the back to create a card.

Happy Birthday

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. Today, I would like to share with you a Hawaiian style birthday card I made. The card fits in an A2 envelope.
I used the tiki bar cut from the adorable PPPR "Aloha Cutting Files" to make the shape of the card and the cute couple is also from the same file. I used Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids and Peachy Keen Princess Face stamp for the faces. The sentiment is from Pink By Design  "Aloha" stamp set. I used Cuttlebug "Herringbone" embossing folder, chalk, ink and white gel pen for some detail. Totally love the way it came out and loving the PPPR "Aloha Cutting Files".

What I used:
Pink By Design "Aloha" stamp set
PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment stamp set
PK-640 Princess Face Assortment stamp set
Cuttlebug "Herringbone" embossing folder
Pebbles Chalks
Memento Rose Bud ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink

We also have a Vacation challenge that is going on now. You can link up your project HERE.

Thank You for stopping by and I hope everyone is having a good and relaxing summer.

Super Dad!

Happy Saturday, everyone, and Happy 1st Day of Summer! YAY!  I have a super quick card to share with you today that I created for my husband for Father's Day. Yeah, I know...Father's Day is over for this year. But, this would be a great card for a dad's birthday or just to say thank you. Here it is:

I created this shaped card using a file from the Super Mom & Dad Cutting Files set. I simply mirrored the base of the shape in Silhouette Studio and welded resulting mirror image to the base to create a card (the fold is at the top). Then, I had the perfect card for me to tell my husband that he is my super hero.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great Saturday, and be sure to come back tomorrow for more PPPR inspiration.

Thank You So Much Rainbow Card

Hiya all! Happy Memorial Day! Leah Schaeffer here today to share a shaped card with you all! Last time I shared a bit of a similar card with you all. But after having created that last one, I have become totally obsessed with making shaped cards! They are so easy to make and I have to say, are just something unexpected compared to a regular square card. This one even steps it up a bit because I sized it for a business sized envelope. You certainly don't see cards that shape either very often!

Because this card was so simple using Glossy Accents I outlined the clouds and dusted thoroughly with some chunky Martha Stuart glitter, quite stunning in real life! The last bit was some white gel pen doodling to the sentiment and some tone on tone gems. The pattern and textured paper also helps add interest to this card compared to say using all solid card stock. Which you could do of course but this is a wee more interesting. The shape and the popping of the layers really does make this oh-so-cool in person!

I kept this even more simple by just using ONE file! =) Do you recognize the image below that I used in my last shaped card? Maybe I need a shaped boot next? =)

We thank you for coming by today! Have a good one!

Grill Master ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge July 27

TGIF!!!  It's a great day for another Die Cut Challenge over at Stuck on U Sketches.  The theme of this challenge is Summer BBQ.  Here's what I created for the challenge:

I found this cute Apron Shape Card with Utensils in the Silhouette Online Store and cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo.  I wanted the card to be a little wider, so I created a shadow layer by using the offset feature in Silhouette Studio.  I filled the apron shape with a digital paper from the Lettering Delights Ninja Kicks Paper Pack.  Then, printed it and used the print-and-cut feature in Silhouette Studio to cut it out. I love how it looks all grungy and has a border at the bottom.

The Grill Master sentiment came from Pink by Design's Just 4 Men Stamp Set, and the Happy Birthday for Goodness Steak sentiment came from Pink by Design's Kitchen Puns Set.  I got the stars from Pink by Design's Oh Boy Set.  I added some stitching lines, and my little shape card was all done.

Now it's your turn.  Head on over to Stuck on U Sketches to see what the other talented Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own Summer BBQ Themed project that uses a die cut.  I can't wait to see what you create!
