100 Follower Giveaway!!!

Happy Superbowl Sunday, everyone!  I hope everyone has super fun Superbowl plans.  My plans are simply to stay awake long enough to watch the game (it airs around midnight here in Germany).  It would be a lot easier to stay awake if we got to watch the fun Superbowl commercials, but those don't air on the Armed Forces Network, so I'll have to check them out tomorrow on You Tube.  Anyway...I'm super excited that my hubby's team is in the game...go Packers (although I wish the Cowboys were there).

Well, enough about that!  I want to take a minute to thank everyone for all of the super sweet comments you guys leave me...they make me so happy when I read them.  It really means a lot that you take the time to say a little something about my posts.  :o)  As a thank you, I want to give away a little blog candy when I reach 100 followers.  Right now, I'm only 18 more followers away, so hopefully this giveaway will happen pretty soon.  Here's what I'm giving away:

This giveaway includes the My Pink Stamper Punny-Licious stamp set, a package of 60 Bazzill clear self-adhesive jewels, 10 pink Bazzill paper flowers, 12 Bazzill paper leaves, a Studio G clear stamping block, and 26 Cropper Hopper fiber cards.

I'll choose a random winner when I reach 100 followers.  *************I did it!!!  107 now, so entries are closed at 24.************* Good luck!!!  :o)

How Exciting!!!

Wow!  I really just can't believe it!  I was one of the Top Three Chefs at Cooking with Cricut this week.  My little Rollerskating Giraffe was chosen!  I'm so happy!  I'm always just SUPER surprised when one of my cards is chosen during challenges.  I'm also just SUPER excited!!!

I also forgot to mention that my Just Saying Hello beaver card was chosen randomly as the winner of the Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge #3.  That puts me in the running to win a Summer in Paris cartridge!  I can hardly wait to see if I win!

Well, thanks so much for reading my giddy blabberings.  I just needed to share!  Have a great Saturday!

Valentine's Teacher Gift

The girls and I have a long weekend together since Monday is a teacher work day at their schools.  So, it's a perfect weekend to work on Valentine's treat bags for their classes...more on that later.  We're going to make treat bags for their teachers, too, but I want to put a little something extra in their bags.  Here's a little gift I made for one of the teachers:

I bought a little pack of 3 Post-It Notes and decided to make a simple little cover for them.  First, I glued the 3 pads together with my adhesive runner.  Next, I cut a rectangle of patterned paper (I got this from the DCWV Sweets stack) that measured 7-1/8" by 3-1/4".  I scored the paper at 3-1/4" and 3-7/8" (which is 3-1/4" from each end).  Then, I glued the bottom of the stack of Post-Its to the inside of the cover with my adhesive runner, and I used glue dots to hold the "binding" of the little cover to the glued edge of the stack.  Then, I added a bow, and I was all done.  I love how the little border of the paper looks on the front of the cover.  I know it's really simple, but I think it will be the perfect little thing to add to the bag of goodies.  I only made this for my youngest daughter's teacher.  My older daughter's teacher never seems to have red pens when I go in to help him out in the classroom, so he's getting a BUNCH of red pens in his bag.  :o)
I hope you like my simple little project.  Thanks for visiting!

Cupcake Valentine

Well, I have yet another Valentine to share with you.  Party Time Tuesdays is having a Valentine's Day Cupcake Challenge.  For this challenge, we are supposed to create a card with a Valentine's theme and a cupcake.  Here's what I came up with:

This card didn't really photograph well...light colors with a flash just don't work out.  I really need a light box or something since it's so dark here in Germany in the winter.  Anyway...I created this card using my Gypsy (I think I create everything with my Gypsy, though).  The cupcake is from Birthday Bash, but I used a Create a Critter heart to replace the cherry.  The patterned papers are from the DCWV Sweets stack, and the sentiment is computer generated.  I used Stickles and my white pen to add a little somethin', and also added a bit of ribbon.  I hope you like my Valentine's cupcake!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Crab-ulous!!!

This week, Made By Momo is having a fun color challenge.  We are supposed to use the colors hot pink, black, and white, and include a heart on our project.  Well, I thought a hot pink crab would just be so cute.  Here's my card:

This little guy is from Create a Critter, which is also where I got the hearts he's holding.  The border is a file I found on the Internet and I cut with Make-the-Cut and my Cricut.

Here's the inside of the card.  The sentiment is computer generated.  :o)  I hope you like my little card.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Robot Valentine

I've had this robot card designed in my Gypsy for a while now, but I wasn't really inspired to actually make it.  There are some great challenges out there right now, though, that are perfect for this little card.  Jitterbuggin' is having a Non-Traditional Valentine Challenge, Cricut Cardz is having a Valentine for a Man Challenge, and More than Favors is having a Yellow, Blue, and White Challenge.  So, here's what I created to enter into all three of these fun challenges:

The robot came from...can you guess?   Yep, the Robotz cartridge!  :o)   The hearts came from Paisley, and the card base came from Wild Card.  The blue and white patterned paper is from Oriental Trading Co., and the yellow paper is from the DCWV Citrus Stack.  The sentiment is computer generated with a free font that I found on the Internet.  This is yet another card in the running for my husband's  V-day card.  I may have to do a whole week's worth!  :o)  Well, thanks so much for visiting, and remember...I LOVE your comments!  ;o)
